I have a new BX2230 with only 12 hours on it and I am new to using various PTO's
My problem is that when I use the rear PTO, then try to switch the leaver that picks the PTO back to run both the Mid and the rear or just the mid, it sticks in the rear PTO position. I do not want to pull too hard on the leaver but it does not want to move to the next position. I have found that by engaging the PTO on and off several times and playing with it, It finally moves and does so very easy. Is it just that the tractor is new and tight, does it need fixed or is this normal?
Thanks for the help, I still have a lot to learn.

I'm not sure normal is the right way to describe it, but my 7800 pto levers are difficult to shift sometimes. There is even a blurb in the owners manual about what to do if they are difficult to shift. It is just a meetr if getting the gear box lined up for shifting. ....

Thanks
I did not know what to think, all other levers move easily.
When it does not want to move, it feels like there is something giving but I do not want to pull/push to hard.
That is probably why kicking the PTO in and out of gear until it moves easily works. I will look at manual again, I read it when I got the tractor last month, but did not go back on this item. ....

e-hydros have problems too. After you get a little used to the Kubota shifters, they aren't a problem. ....
